The Witches
The Witches pandemic is achieving things never seen before. One of them is the forced change that the film industry had to face due to the indefinite closure of theaters worldwide.
While there are some productions that have preferred to postpone their premieres, there are others like “The Witches” who decided to jump into the pool by betting on streaming as an option to debut on the agreed date.
The Warner Bros film, directed by Robert Zemeckis and based on the book ‘The Witches’ by Roald Dahl, finally shifted its release to October 22 via streaming HBO Max.
Starring Anne Hathaway, Octavia Spencer and Stanley Tucci, this film is positioned as one of the most anticipated for this Halloween due to its theme.
The coronavirus caused the studio to repeatedly modify the premiere date, however, it ended up leaving everything on standby until they found a solution, and finally they got it!
That is how they came to HBO Max, a streaming platform that must fill its content library to face the Netflix giant, Disney + and Amazon Prime Video.
